Equestrian Fashion Reigns with the ShowChic Turnout Award at the Florida Dressage Classic CDI-W
Wellington, FL (February 20, 2013) – Despite a rainy and windy morning for the CDI jog, equestrian trendsetter Katharina Stumpf of Austria managed to look chic and elegant. Because of her fashion sense and flair, Stumpf was awarded the ShowChic Jog Best Turnout Award during the 2013 Adequan Global Dressage Festival Florida Dressage Classic CDI-W. Dubbed the dressage show’s fashion event, the jog featured each competitor presenting their mount before a panel of judges. “It’s chic and trendy, I always try to look good for the jog,” says winner, Katharina Stumpf, showing off her elegant apparel with Oldenburg gelding, Nymphenburg’s Love. The pair was the definition of distinction as they began their first international small tour competition of the season in Wellington.
“Katharina looked stunning. First, she had on a beautiful blush pink tailored shirt and a black tank top underneath with a marvelous straw hat and matching print Hermes scarf around the crown. She was like a runway model,” says ShowChic panel judge, Carol Cohen, a fashion professional from Manhattan. Katharina’s style was unmatched; her prize for winning the Best Turnout package from ShowChic included a Back On Track saddle pad, Herm Sprenger bit cleaner, SamShield riding gloves, and Arista stock tie, and a Fleck dressage whip. This is Katharina’s third competition season in Wellington and her first time to be awarded as an equestrian trendsetter by ShowChic boutique.
