Lexington, KY (April 23, 2013) – The Neue Schule Bits will debut in Lexington this weekend during the 2013 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event. VTO Saddlery with Mette Larsen, the U.S. distributor for Neue Schule will be presenting these ergonomically designed bits to the eventing world.

“We look forward to showing the selection of these amazing bits,” says Mette Larsen, “the better designed the bit is, the easier it is for the rider and the horse to communicate.”

VTO Saddlery will be located inside the Trade Fair of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event and will have a display specifically for Neue Schule Bits. With a unique composition of metals, encouraging acceptance and communication between horse and rider, Neue Schule bits provide a warmer and softer feel in the mouth of the horse.

The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event has a reputation for being one of the best equine trade fairs in the nation offering the newest and most technologically advanced products available today. Using the latest in engineering and computer aided design (CAD) technologies, Neue Schule Bits offers a solution for bitting problems and achieving overall comfort for the horse and rider.

Neue Schule Bits have already seen success in the eventing world, as members of the British Event Team used the bits during the 2012 London Olympics. VTO Saddlery is excited to offer these bits to the thousands of Rolex spectators and eventing enthusiasts with Mette Larsen available for education and bitting demonstrations throughout the weekend.

The Neue Schule Bits are anatomically designed with the horse in mind and create a better platform for the rider-horse connection. Each bit has a unique purpose and design to offer the horse and rider combination a customized fit. The unique composition of warmer and softer metals with a very high copper content, promotes acceptance and communication. Neue Schule offers a range of high performance, superior comfort bits that are ergonomically designed and incorporate this unique metal alloy.

Larsen explains, “Each bit addresses the various problematic issues that can occur between the horse and the contact with the bit, like pulling on the rider, hiding behind the bit, unevenness in the hand, tongue issues, etc. The bits are designed to help alleviate some of these issues so that the horse and rider get back to focusing on their ride or their training.”
