ShowChic Turn Out Award Winner David Marcus Sports Blue to Win

ShowChic Turn Out Award Winner David Marcus Sports Blue to Win Wellington, FL (April 2, 2014) - Canadian dressage rider David Marcus isn't just a ShowChic Turn Out Award winner, he's an awfully good sport. “I said last week to Michelle (Hundt) that, if dressing as well as Gary Rockwell (on the Ground Jury), right down to the same maroon pants and blue shirt, couldn't win a best-dressed award, then what could I do?” Marcus joked. Marcus's friend – and ShowChic's stylish founder -- joked right back: “Try wearing the blue pants.” #eliteequestrian

Sure enough, paired with a blue-gingham plaid shirt and driving moccasins, Marcus cut such a sporting figure during the last CDI jog of Florida’s Adequan Global Dressage Festival Week 12, sponsored by Diamante Farm, in Wellington that the 3* and 5* Grand Prix rider indeed trotted away with the ShowChic Turn Out Award and a basket of prizes from EquiLine.

“Michelle and ShowChic have been such good friends and wonderful supporters of dressage here in Florida. Anything that I can do in appreciation, I’m all for it. Thank you for these great prizes, I’ve heard wonderful things about EquiLine products and can’t wait to start using them,” said Marcus, who pinned two horses in the top ten at AGDF12 FEI Grand Prix Freestyles, scoring a 67.625% on Deborah Kinzinger-Miculunic’s Swedish-bred black gelding, Don Kontes, and a 72.90% on her Danish-bred bay, Chrevi’s Capital.

ShowChic Turn Out Awards, launched by Michele and Doug Hundt, founders of ShowChic, celebrate great presentation style. The awards embodies the philosophy of the upscale boutique dedicated to ‘putting the rider in first place’ when horsemen, like David Marcus, want to present their horses – and themselves – at their best.
