The American face of polo Nic Roldan is traveling to China to compete in the Fortune Heights Super Nations Cup that will take place September 29 – October 9, 2013 at the Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club, China’s most extensive polo facility. Nic’s goal is to expand upon China’s growing role in the sport of polo, furthering the sport’s
international footprint through his presence. With his massive fan base watching from the U.S., Nic is geared up to publicize, promote and play in several all out, high-stakes matches with some of the most competitive players in the game.
Currently ranked at 8-goals, the 2nd highest in the United States, Nic has it all; from his handsome good looks and exceptional physique to the innate skill for polo that he’s been developing since childhood. With a long history in the sport, Nic has made it his mission to represent polo by working throughout the world to promote the sport while simultaneously working to benefit philanthropies and positive initiatives. Featured in the Sunday Styles section of The New York Times, chosen as one of Vanity Fair’s 10 Hottest Horsemen, shot for GQ Taiwan and appearing on the covers of Hamptons, Palm Beach Illustrated, Indulge and Polo Magazine– Nic is responsible for introducing polo to thousands.
