Historic triple victory for meeco riders in the province of Valencia
Epic family triumph: The meeco Equestrian Team wins three times gold in the “Campeonato Autonómico de Valencia”
The meeco Equestrian Team reached historic results at the Valencian “Campeonato Autonómico de Salto de Obstáculos y salto con ponis” that took place in the province of Valencia from 7th to 9th October 2016. Competing in the installations of the “Club Escuela de Salto de Valencia”, the siblings Leonie, Cedric and Vincent Trutschler dominated their classes and all three became respectively champions of the province of Valencia!
The weekend of competition in Valencia revealed to become a unique experience for the family-based meeco Equestrian Team, sponsored by the international clean energy provider The meeco Group. The three siblings Leonie, Cedric and Vincent Trutschler showed outstanding performances during the three competition days including the finals and could each win the gold medal in their competitions. With three beautiful clear rounds Leonie convinced in the junior category (1.20 m). In the final jump-off she secured with the Holsteiner mare OurSun Cariana her fantastic victory.
Her brother Cedric followed her on the road to success and won the gold medal in the Junior 1* category (1.30 m) with the Holstein gelding OurSun Caretanos. With just four faults in all the classes he jumped he was the best rider within his category during the three competition days and won the second gold medal for his team.
Vincent and the Hannoveraner mare OurSun Queeny Rubin crowned the success of the family and the whole team with the victory in the young rider category (1.35 m). He was the only participant in his category who succeeded in jumping the whole of the three competition days including the final class without knocking down any poles.
The meeco Equestrian Team is overwhelmed by this successful weekend and amazing family performance within a great atmosphere in Valencia. “Three family members winning gold in the same show jumping competition is a really historic and unforgettable experience revealing the excellent capacity of the teams’ horses and riders”, concludes team coach Andrew Saether.
