Peak Performance Awards to Engle and Goldstein
Wellington, FL (February 20, 2013) – Week 5 of the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival did not disappoint fans of Florida hometown favorite Margie Engle of Wellington. Riding Indigo, co-owned by longtime client Mike Pulaski of Hidden Creek, under Saturday night’s lights in the $82,000 Adequan CS12* Grand Prix, the pint-sized powerhouse U.S. Olympian and sixth-greatest FEI show jumping rider of all time turned in one of her trademark gutsy bids for victory against 13 jump-off contenders culled from 47 original entries.
Ben Maher and Urico ultimately won the Grand Prix, but Indigo’s fast footwork and bold athleticism earned The Sanctuary’s Peak Performance Award.
