Heather Blitz and Ripline Win The Horse of Course High Score Award and Maintain National Top Ranking 5-Year-Old Status

Wellington, FL (April 10, 2013) – Pan American gold medalist and Olympic team reserve, Heather Blitz stole the show on her 5-year-old Danish stallion, Ripline, during the Adequan® 2013 Global Dressage Festival 5* CDI, scoring a whopping 85.800% in the FEI Young Horse Final for 5 year olds and winning The Horse of Course High Score Award. Ripline, who is owned by Blitz and Oakhill Ranch, showed the Wellington crowd why he is ranked number one in the nation for 5-year-olds by topping his last score during the test and placing him well ahead of the rest. “He feels like a Grand Prix horse in the making to me!” stated Blitz about her horse. “He has a feeling of everything in him already, with a really good level of correct basics.” Blitz was excited to win the High Score Award. “Thank you, Horse of Course, for the beautiful saddle pad and rosette,” she smiled, “Look for a picture of them outside of Ripline’s stall on our Facebook page!”

“We love being able to recognize outstanding equestrians with this High Score Award,” explains Beth Haist, owner of The Horse of Course. “It’s so exciting being involved and available at these shows for these amazing riders.” The Horse of Course High Score Award recognizes weekly winners at the Florida circuit shows including the International Horse Sport Dressage series, the Global Dressage Festival, the Gold Coast Dressage Association, and Wellington Classic Dressage shows. The HOC High Score award is presented to riders achieving the highest score at these selected shows.
