Nora Gray Wins The Sanctuary Peak Performance During 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival

Wellington, FL (April 8, 2012) – The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center presented Nora Gray from Owen Sound, Ontario, with The Peak Performance Award in recognition of the top athletic conditioning of her amazing equitation horse, Venice. Gray, who works for North Run out of Warren, Vermont and Wellington, Florida, was excited at the opportunity to be showing Venice, who is a 9-year-old gelding owned by Mary Tyree from Chicago. Because Venice is currently for sale, Gray understands the importance of keeping him in shape for a highly successful season. “We ride him quite a lot,” she explained about his conditioning, “and it’s very important that he is well groomed and well fed, and we just make sure we take good care of him and all the horses at North Run.” The Sanctuary recognizes that this type of training is comparable to what human athletes go through, and therefore, the team received a $250 gift certificate to The Sanctuary as a part of the award, which can be used to ensure they continue to win top honors throughout 2013.
