The Sanctuary’s Peak Performance Award Goes to Melanie Cerny and Dante MC at 2013 Adequan Global Dressage Festival
Wellington, FL (February 25, 2013) – Melanie Cerny of Amsbury, MA, and her gorgeously fit Oldenberg gelding, Dante MC (DeNiro x Sandy), were the proud recipients of The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center’s Peak Performance Award during the 2013 Adequan Global Dressage Festival Florida Dressage Classic CDI-W. The eye-catching team rode away with a first place in the Adult Amateur Intermediare II Open class, and also received a $250 Gift Certificate from The Sanctuary as a part of the Peak Performance Award for demonstrating top-level equine athletic conditioning. Cerny attributes much of Dante’s high level of fitness to the amount of hills and out riding they do when they are at home. However, the team has been training rigorously with Shannon Dueck, and Cerny said, “Believe me, when you train with Shannon, you really, really work hard and it’s a lot of fun!”
