Draper Therapies served as a sponsor of the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival, and showed a desire to encourage and support accomplished equestrians by giving out several awards to competitors throughout the show. The most prestigious awards at WEF were the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival Circuit Champion Awards, which were given to the riders who finished the season at the top of their divisions based on the points and prize money they had earned. Draper Therapies—which each individual award was named after—presented the awards to the recipients. “I am very excited to have this opportunity.” Becky Shipps of Draper Therapies commented about Draper’s involvement in the 2014 WEF.

Draper Therapies also presented its own awards, called Draper Therapies Knock Your Socks Off Awards, throughout the twelve weeks of WEF. These awards were given to riders who demonstrated outstanding effort, good sportsmanship, or exceptional skills in the arena. Two riders won the Knock Your Socks Off Award during each week of WEF, making 24 award recipients in all. Each winner was given a prize package full of Draper Therapies products that are useful for both the horse and the rider.

Draper Therapies would like to congratulate all of the following recipients of the Draper Therapies Knock Your Socks Off Awards:

WEF 1: Peter Pletcher & Havens Schatt

WEF 2: Decland McParland & Meredith Pless

Yet another way that Draper Therapies gave back to the equestrian community at WEF was by sponsoring a clinic in the Ride & Learn series. The clinic was given by the celebrated hunter rider and trainer Tommy Serio. It was held in the Van Kampen Covered Arena at The Stadium at the PBIEC on February 11, 2014. “The students were great.” Serio said after the clinic. “You just sort of pass your ideas on to them as far as position goes, as far as preparing them for a clinic or horse showing and things of that nature.” At the end of the clinic, Becky Shipps presented Serio and each clinic participant with a complimentary product from Draper.
