Bio & Farm Information:
Whitney Mulqueen is a Double-carded licensed Horse Show Judge for USEF and NSBA in Hunters and Jump Seat Equitation. Whitney relocated from Saratoga, NY to Ocala, Florida in March 2021 and is excited to grow her business in the Sunshine State! Along with her passion for teaching – Whitney helps her fellow Equestrian’s and Farm Owners find great Health Insurance Coverage up to 32% off because she works for her clients not the big insurance companies.
Whitney has over 35 years of combined expertise in riding, teaching, judging, and showing in NY, NJ, CT, MA and PA. Her keen eye as a Judge gives her the ability to teach her students to be technically correct in the saddle. Students are taught at all levels in our program. Whitney has been Judging Open, 4-H and rated horse shows for over 25 years. Whitney is currently accepting new clients and booking judging & clinic dates for 2023 & 2024.
Quality Riding Instruction at its best! At Celtic Crest Farm we embrace a learning environment that will prepare students for pleasure riding, competition and beyond. Various riding levels are taught methodically to build strength and confidence in our students. Whitney teaches the fundamentals of proper flat work that is rooted in Classical English Horsemanship/Basic Dressage to develop balance between horse and rider. Once students master proper flat work – they have the option to go on to Jumping. We do not pressure students to compete – but we thoroughly enjoy taking students to horse shows once they are confident and ready to show.
Our Mission:
The student’s safety and learning are our top priority. Our focus is on building confidence at each level of horsemanship. We work closely to educate students on the how’s and whys of our training system. We will also teach students how to groom and tack up horses before their lessons if they wish.
Mobile Instruction, Clinics & Horse Show Judging:
Whitney is available to travel to private farms as well as be a great ground person at WEC & HITS Showgrounds. Need a fresh perspective? Why not schedule a clinic for your farm with Whitney. Whitney is also available for Horse Show Judging and has been judging for over 25 years.
Private Riding Instruction for Adults & Children:
All ages and experience levels are welcome! All lessons are done by appointment. Call to schedule your appointment for lessons at Celtic Crest Farm, LLC just 15 minutes from downtown Ocala, FL. Whitney is also a Mobile Instructor and is available to travel to your private farm to work with you and your horse. *Ship-Ins are welcome with Coggins.
