“I was looking for a sounding board, and I feel as though I have really found that in Kim,” Goldstein explains. “I knew I wanted a little help on the ground, and I think Kim and I have made vast improvements with my horses and with myself as well.” She continues, “I have enjoyed my time with Kim very much, and I look forward to great things as we continue to collaborate and share our skills with each other.”

On the Grand Prix circuit since she was 19, Kim Prince has plenty of experience with international equestrian sport, including numerous Nations Cups and dozens of top 10 Grand Prix finishes around the world. In addition to riding professionally, Prince has successfully trained and developed numerous riders to achieve their individual goals in the equitation, junior/amateur jumpers and Grand Prix rings. Prince has also made a mark in the world of equestrian television. She appeared on Animal Planet in the popular series, “Horsepower: Road to the Maclay,” and is an expert equestrian analyst for the World Sporthorse Championship series. Prince is excited to be working with Goldstein and helping her compete at the international level. “I enjoy working with motivated, ambitious and talented young riders, and Dani certainly fits this bill,” Prince explains. “She is talented, works very hard and loves her horses. She also has a great team behind her.” Prince goes on to describe that she plans to work with Goldstein to customize a training program for each individual horse as a part of her ongoing development. “The most important thing is to have a top championship level horse with which you build a true partnership,” she advises, “It is also critical to be dedicated, motivated and yet humble.”

In addition to her personal and professional development, Goldstein has been giving back to the horse-loving community through her groundbreaking International Equestrian Education (IEE) series, which is being offered for the first time this year during the Florida winter show season. Working in conjunction with the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival, this innovative and exciting 5-week long course was designed to provide valuable knowledge, understanding and insight for young riders and adult amateur equestrians, as well as many others involved at all levels of the equine industry. Participants in the first semester had the opportunity to learn from top professionals in the industry covering a vast amount of material and topics such as the basics of horsemanship, stable management, grooming, tacking, and schooling area safety and etiquette. Also, general topics such as FEI standards, jumper course design, veterinary and hoof care basics, legal contracts and business essentials are included in the program. Goldstein also offered scholarships to high school students to enroll in the program as a way to engage young people with a passion for horses.

For Goldstein, innovation, determination and passion have been a driving force throughout her entire life. Since the young age of 15, she has contributed her visionary talent to developing innovative projects that support and grow the equestrian industry. In addition to creating and managing Starwyn, Goldstein continues to strive for personal and professional development in conjunction with ways to give back and encourage horse lovers everywhere to pursue their own dreams.
