Desert International Horse Park Welcomes Second Season of Desert Dressage

Desert International Horse Park (DIHP) is thrilled to be kicking off an exciting season of Desert Dressage at its show grounds in Thermal, CA. Spanning five weeks from October 2022 through February 2023, Desert Dressage brings five National shows and three CDI World Cup Qualifiers, including various qualifying events from FEI North American Youth Championships to Para-Dressage National Championships and beyond. New for the 2022/2023 season, DIHP will be awarding a $10,000 National Circuit Award to be given at the conclusion of Desert Dressage events in February 2023. This award will honor the top-performing horse and rider throughout the five weeks of National dressage competition. Young Horse and Freestyle classes are excluded from the list of classes that qualify pairs for the award.

DIHP would also like to welcome new and returning sponsors for its 2022/2023 season of Desert Dressage. EurEquine will serve as the presenting sponsor of all CDI-W Freestyles to Music, which will take place at CDI World Cup Qualifiers in November, December, and January. Four Winds Farm will serve as presenting sponsor of Desert Dressage I, featuring USEF Level III National competition and kicking off October 28, 2022. CDI action begins November 17, 2022, featuring CDI-W, CDI2*, CDI1*, CDIU25, CDIJ, CDIY, CDIP, CDICh-A, CDIAm, and CDIYH divisions, plus USEF Level V National competition.
