We know that you have a choice in horse shows, but we hope you choose to attend the award-winning Pin Oak Charity Horse Show — the first horse show to receive the coveted United States Equestrian Foundation Heritage Competition Award.  The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show has been recognized three times as a Top 25 horse show in the nation.

Known for its equestrian excellence, extraordinary hospitality, and time-honored traditions, The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show ensures a unique experience for competitors, sponsors, members, and spectators. It is truly one of the premiere equestrian events in The South. The Pin Oak Charity Horse show is perfect for people who love children and animals, as the photos accompanying this article demonstrate.  The horse show has raised more than $5.5 million for its charity beneficiaries, which include Texas Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Texas Children’s Hospital and Candlelighters Childhood Family Cancer Alliance.

Pin Oak is a multi-breed horse show featuring American Saddlebreds, Andalusians and Lusitanos, Welsh Ponies, the all-breed Working Equitation Division, and Hunters and Jumpers. The show also includes a National Collegiate Athletic Association Collegiate Invitational event. Equestrian teams from colleges and universities in Texas, Louisiana and several other states have confirmed their participation.

Check www.pinoak.org for a schedule of events.  Most events are free and open to the public. Tickets are available for a donation of $10 per adult for the Saturday night Grand Prix events on March 22 and March 29.
