Heather Bender’s Treasure Coast Farm Wins Schneiders Saddlery Tack Room Award At Gold Coast May Show

Wellington, FL (June 6, 2012) – Heather Bender’s Treasure Coast Farm not only rode away with ribbons during the Gold Coast Dressage Association May Show, but the farm also took home the Schneiders Saddlery Tack Room Award thanks to their great stabling setup. Schneiders Saddlery, a full service tack store offering a complete line of equestrian equipment including an extensive dressage line, awarded Bender with a Schneiders EZ View Number System Dressage Saddle Pad for winning the tack room award.Heather Bender’s Treasure Coast Farm Wins Schneiders Saddlery Tack Room Award At Gold Coast May Show

Bender thanked Schneiders Saddlery and said she and her clients were thrilled to win the award. “Treasure Coast Farm is in Martin County and I have a great group of riders with me at the show. They are all very excited to come down to the shows in Wellington,” she said.

Bender said her colorful Treasure Coast Farm logo is a true representation of living in Florida and the tropics. “There’s a fun story behind my logo,” she said. “The Iberian horse on the logo represents my star horse, who is a Lusitano. My husband raises parrots, and has about 400 of them, so that is why there is also a parrot on the logo. I think when you look at our logo you definitely think of the tropics.”

During the Gold Coast May Show, Bender competed Wilda May, known as Mimi, in the Training Level division riding away with the win. “This was Mimi’s first show. She has been a broodmare but we are turning her into a competition horse for a new amateur client,” Bender said. “Mimi was fabulous. She came out in the pouring rainstorm and was perfect.”

Charles Pinnell, a Product Designer at Schneiders Saddlery, congratulated Bender and Treasure Coast Farm on winning the Tack Room Award. “We presented Heather and her farm with a Schneiders EZ View Number System Dressage Saddle Pad. The EZ View is a useful item for dressage riders as they attach directly to the saddle pad and display the competitor’s number in a clean, professional way,” Pinnell said, adding that Schneiders Saddlery was founded in 1948 and has maintained a dedication to value, product quality, innovation and customer service.

“During the last few years Schneiders has greatly expanded their product line, especially for dressage. From bridles to bits, pads, girths, and horse wear, plus many training and general barn products, we want the dressage community to know that we have excellent choices at remarkable prices. Our goal is to provide riders, trainers and owners with everything they need to train, show and enjoy their horses,” Pinnell said.

Schneiders believes in supporting the equestrian community and is a prominent sponsor on the South Florida dressage circuit. For more information on Schneiders Saddlery, and their extensive line of dressage products, visit www.sstack.com
