Hermès Sellier Secures Title Sponsorship of the 1.50m Championship Grand Prix Jumping Series

Hermès Sellier, the maker of equestrian equipment since 1837, has taken the reins as the title sponsor for the prestigious Hermès Sellier 1.50M Championship Grand Prix Jumping Series. The three-year partnership strengthens Hermès’ longstanding association with the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), where they have been a revered sponsor for over 15 years.

Under the spotlight of this sponsorship, many of the Hermès Sellier 1.50m Grand Prix Championship (HGPS) classes will be conducted under the FEI rules, apart from two National classes. A Grand Prix FEI Final will take place on Saturday night March 23 during week 11. Wellington International will employ its established point-and-ranking system to ensure the competition’s integrity to position the competing riders in HGPS events. Equestrian enthusiasts and participants attending the event will be kept abreast of the competition’s progress, with the HGPS standings prominently showcased on-site by Wellington International.

Diane Mahady, President of Hermès Sellier, says, “We are deeply committed to the equestrian world and take immense pride in supporting show jumping competitions at the apex of excellence. Through our partner rider program, our vision extends beyond the immediate; we aim to nurture and champion the next generation of talent, ensuring the sport’s vibrant future. Our longstanding relationship with the Winter Equestrian Festival is a testament to this dedication.”

In a grand gesture, to honor the outstanding achievements of the top horse and rider combination, Hermès will award a luxurious blanket and a generous store credit to the champion of the Series at its conclusion.

Beyond the realm of competition, Hermès’ commitment to the equestrian world shines brightly. They further their sponsorship by enhancing the International Arena Riders Lounge and adorning the International Arena warm-up ring. Aficionados of the brand can indulge in the Hermès experience at their retail spot located on the scenic Tiki Terrace.
