Hunt Tosh Pilots Cannon Creek to the Grand Hunter Championship at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show Presented by MARS Equestrian™
Fresh off a successful week at Devon, the Wheeler Family’s Cannon Creek continued his winning ways at the 171st Upperville Colt & Horse Show presented by MARS Equestrian™, earning the High Performance Hunter Championship and Grand Hunter Championship with rider Hunt Tosh.
“Upperville is one of our favorite horse shows, and we love to come back every year,” said Tosh from Milton, Ga. “Cannon came off a great Devon; he was Champion there and then came here and was Champion again, two weeks in a row. He is wonderful and we couldn’t ask more of this horse.”
UCHS is the oldest horse show in the U.S. Founded in 1853 as a one-day show to encourage better breeding and care of horses, the show has grown to a weeklong tradition with more than 2000 equestrian and equine pairs competing in a variety of competitive disciplines. Many of the continent’s top professional riders as well as amateurs compete under the spectacular setting featuring the famous oaks at Grafton Farm.
