The meeco Equestrian Team finishes the two-weekend show in Barcelona
From June 21st until June 23th, The meeco Equestrian Team competed at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona again. The weekend before, the meeco riders achieved some very good results, which they wanted to back up with the more challenging CSN5* “Ruta Condal (II)”. With two fourth places, LMK Petit Bonbon and Calife D´austral achieved the best results at this show jumping event.
The event began with a nice 5th place in the 1.35 m young horses’ class of Calife D´austral, who achieved the third fastest time of the whole starting field. On Saturday, June 22nd, LMK Petit Bonbon and Calife D´austral had their best competition day. The six-year-old mare LMK Petit Bonbon produced a lovely round in the 1.30 m young horses’ class, finished clear and achieved a fantastic 4th place. Calife D´austral did a great job as well. In the 1.35 m young
horses’ class, he completed the challenging course within a sensational time and jumped to another very nice 4th place. With these results those two young horses qualified for the Spanish breeders’ finals ANCADES to be jumped in Madrid in autumn this year.
The week before, The meeco Equestrian Team participated at the CSN4* “Ruta Condal” in Barcelona as well. On Friday, June 14th, Calife D´austral attracted attention with a wonderfully clear round, the fastest time of all participants and the victory in the challenging 1.35 m young horses’ class. “Both shows in Barcelona were successful and the horses and riders did a good job at the “Ruta Condal”. Especially, the second event showed us clearly that our practice and experience are paying off and I am confident that with a little more luck at the course the next
victories will follow soon.” stated the satisfied coach of The meeco Equestrian Team, Pedro Sánchez Alemán, after the show.
