Marshall and Sterling Insurance League Finals Showcase Rising Talent
The 2022 Marshall & Sterling Insurance League Finals are underway at HITS-on-the-Hudson, showcasing the rising talent in the hunter, jumper and equitation rings. Over 500 riders have gathered at the world-class facility to compete at all levels, ranging from the Novice Children’s and Adult Hunter Classics to the M&S Junior Medal Final. The Marshall & Sterling Insurance League Finals have taken over the expansive Grand Prix Arena as the horses and riders who have worked all year to qualify for these events make their mark.
On Thursday, the hotly contested M&S Bit O’Straw Hunter Classic took center stage, where Adelie Hunsaker & Columbus bested a field of 88 competitors with an impressive score of 166 to garner the winning title.
“It was just so wonderful to be able to compete with all these amazing riders,” expressed Hunsaker after her win. “I really just want to thank my trainer and my horse. In the second round, I really just put in my all and it turned out great and I’m really happy. Marshall & Sterling Finals are a great way to bring together all the hard-working riders and compete during an amazing event.”
The 2022 Marshall and Sterling Finals will continue throughout the weekend, featuring 22 divisions throughout the hunter, jumper and equitation disciplines. Check out our latest winners below!
