Neue Schule Bits Sweeten 2013 Equestrian Sport Productions Circuit Sponsorships

Riverhead, NY (April 3, 2013) – Mette Larsen, of Metlar Premium Performance Saddlery and the US distributor for Neue Schule bits, is pleased to announce that Neue Schule will be sponsoring the 2013 Equestrian Sport Productions Spring, Summer, Fall and Holiday circuits, including its thrilling 4’1” and 4’3” Schooling Jumper Divisions.

Metlar has continued to “jump” at the chance to introduce hunter/jumper riders to the groundbreaking design and sensitivity Neue Schule bits offer: “What better way,” said Larsen, “than through the support of events at such renowned venues as the circuits at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center?”

Neue Schule’s big reveal to the U.S. show jumping community began earlier this year with sponsorship of a ‘Ride and Learn’ at WEF starring show jumping champion, and winning fan and ambassador of Neue Schule Bits, Candice King. Neue Schule also presented ‘A Bit About Bits: What’s in Your Horse’s Mouth and in Your Head?’ at a March 14 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival Lunch and Learn with Larsen and sports psychologist Dr. Jenny Susser leading a discussion on how the right equipment can influence your ride.

“What drew me to these bits,” Larsen said, “were their conductivity, ergonomic design and unique, patented metal alloy. Among Neue Schule’s ‘Class of 2013’ are Israeli show jumper, Danielle Goldstein, who credits her success in her campaign to become the first woman to ride for an Israeli Olympic show jumping team to the comfort and response her horses enjoy from their Neue Schule bits. U.S. Dressage veteran, Kathy Connelly, also praises the enlightened design of the bits and increased awareness of sensitivity in equine oral anatomy.

The warm welcome for the bits at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival has launched a nine-month partnership between Neue Schule and PBIEC as sponsors for the 4’1” and 4’3” Schooling Jumper Divisions during the PBIEC Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Holiday circuits.
