Tanner Korotkin Off and Running with Etonemoi del Cabalero in IDA Development Grand Prix

The 2026 Wellington International Spring Series, presented by Florida Coast Equipment, ended with a victory for young professional and Wellington native Tanner Korotkin in the $24,999 IDA Development Regional Grand Prix riding Etonemoi del Cabalero for owner Lanes End Showjumping.

The Spring Series spans five weeks, featuring hunter, jumper and equitation competition at Wellington International, home of the famed Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). Learn more about the Spring Series HERE.

Korotkin, 24, took the win by nearly two full seconds over courses designed by Hector Loyola (PUR) on the grass derby field. His partnership with Etonemoi Del Cabalero, a 12-year-old Selle Français mare (Air Joradan Z x Le Tot de Semilly) known as “Tony,” was formed only two months ago and is off to a winning start. Korotkin took over the ride from fellow American Daisy Farish, who won a three-star grand prix with Tony last summer.

“I love these super hot horses, and she loves to win,” said Korotkin of Tony’s characteristic attitude and speed. “She’s as fast as it gets. The only thing you’re thinking about on course is holding her back, and she does the rest. Daisy had a lot of success with her, and my goal is to try to replicate that.”

Korotkin and Tony stopped the clock at 36.422 seconds ahead of Grazina Comme Il Faut, ridden by Ali Wolff of New Albany, Ohio, and owned by Alina Zappone. Their time was 38.160 seconds. Finishing third was Ireland’s Cormac Hanley aboard Santiago vh Netehof, owned by Heathman Farm, in 38.340 seconds.
