Allison Brock Wins World Equestrian Brands Tack Matters Award While Riding Rosevelt in Grand Prix Debut

Wellington, FL (March 19, 2013) – Allison Brock was presented with the World Equestrian Brands (WEB) Tack Matters Award after riding her mount, Rosevelt in his first ever Grand Prix at the WEF Dressage Classic CDI-3*. The pair looked stunning, and although Brock felt Rosevelt was a little too fresh in his GP debut, she was very happy with the ride and is excited to continue on with him at this level. Rosevelt (Rotspon/Lauries Crusader xx) is an 11-year-old Hanoverian stallion, owned by Fritz Kundrun. Brock, who spent a year and half under the tutelage of Kyra Kyrkland, has been riding and training Rosevelt for three years, and she attributes much of her success with this horse, as well as others she has in training, to the importance she places on using the right tack. “It has to fit the horse well, so it can help me do my job,” Brock explained about why tack matters. “It has to look good, it has to be well made, and it has to last,” she added. It is this level of understanding that World Equestrian Brands wants to recognize, and why they selected Brock as the winner of the Tack Matters Award and a new Vespucci bridle.“I want to thank World Equestrian Brands, and Rosevelt’s owner Fritz Kundrun for their support,” said Brock. “We couldn’t do it without them!”
