CIRCUIT OF CHAMPIONS TRAINING TOUR CREATES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY

The mission of Smarty is to provide products and services for the Western industry to cultivate champions in and out of the arena through innovative creativity. As the portfolio of products has grown, so has the desire to engage with the consumers and professional team of athletes chosen to endorse the brands, providing ample support to create an in-person educational experience.

The Circuit of Champions Training Tour concept was developed to educate rodeo enthusiasts of all levels in multiple events.  The first tour stop will be in McDonald, TN, August 28-30, 2023.  Professional athletes Charly Crawford, Joseph Harrison, Levi Simpson, Cole Davison, Clay Tryan, Rich Skelton, and Speed Williams will coach a limited number of students in the team roping and horsemanship. Meanwhile, Tibba Smith, WPRA Reserve World Champion Breakaway roper, will be leading the breakaway session, and the founder of Steer Wrestling 101, Tom Carney will coach Steer Wrestling. Since the development of the Smarty Bronc, the relationship with 10-time NFR qualifier Ryan Mapston has spread knowledge throughout the sport’s rough stock side, allowing for one day of chute etiquette and bronc riding fundamentals to be part of this program.

The goal of the Circuit of Champions Training Tour is to ensure that each student gets the most out of their experience. Therefore, spots are limited so that the environment is controlled and beneficial.  Because the intention is to educate, a horse is not required to participate; an Auditor pass is available. Seminars for saddle fit and other helpful topics are also on the schedule.
