Donna Cameron, the owner of Cutler Farm Dressage, organized the opportunity to ride in a dressage clinic with Heather Blitz, as well as a saddle pad signed by Blitz, as a way to give back to the equine industry. Blitz recently relocated to Cutler Farm with her Olympic mount Paragon and young prospect Ripline.

The American Horse Publication’s “Meet at the Peak” seminar focuses on promoting excellence in the equine media industry. At the 43rd annual meeting, the AHP 2013 seminar will be held at Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 20-22, 2013. The highest bidder on the lesson and saddle pad from Cutler Farm was Jennifer Bryant, a freelance writer and photographer. Bryant is familiar with Blitz as she had interviewed her and read her riding critiques in the past. She jumped at the opportunity to train with the high profile rider, and Bryant will travel with her 10-year-old Oldenburg mare from her home state of Pennsylvania to Massachusetts to clinic with Blitz.

Cameron explains, “I was pleased to offer this donation in support of the equine media industry and the American Horse Publications organization. Heather is an incredible resource as a coach, trainer and rider. Cutler is thrilled to have her and to be able to share her knowledge through AHP. The autographed saddle pad is an exciting addition!”

With an international record of dressage scores over 76%, Blitz and her expressive mount, Paragon, have become a household name in the dressage community. Blitz’s teaching methods include the utilization of biomechanics of both horse and rider to achieve the highest level of success as an equestrian.

Cameron explains, “Heather helps the rider and horse achieve a higher degree of harmony. She is already a bit hit at Cutler, with clients lining up to ride with her, and we are sure the winner of the AHP prize will not be disappointed.”
