DEFHR Highlighted at World Equestrian Center, DEFHR’s Benefit Concert Returns, and more
Last week, a team from DEFHR, our ambassador Vinni The Mini, and DEFHR alumnus HH Hadwin hit the road and traveled to the beautiful World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Wilmington, Ohio. Throughout the week, DEFHR Assistant Trainer Leigha Schrader took part in a number of activities, including sharing her experience at the showgrounds on WEC’s Instagram, competing with HH Hadwin (including earning a blue ribbon!), and performing with Vinni ahead of Saturday’s Grand Prix.
The staff at WEC graciously hosted our team and highlighted our programs throughout the multi-day competition. We are so appreciative of this opportunity to spotlight all that rescue horses can do and we extend our sincerest gratitude to the team at WEC for helping to facilitate this incredible experience.
