HERMÈS PRESENTS THE 11TH SAUT HERMÈS AT THE GRAND PALAIS
ON 20TH, 21ST AND 22ND MARCH 2020
For the eleventh edition of the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais, Hermès is delighted to welcome a community of
horse-riding enthusiasts along with leading international show-jumpers to the heart of Paris.
More than 70 riders of 20 different nationalities and around 120 horses will assemble on the Champs-Élysées for this CSI 5* competition – the highest level of classification defined by the FFE (Fédération française d’équitation) and FEI (Fédération équestre internationale). The 50 CSI 5* riders and 20 young promising riders from around the world – competing in the Talents Hermès classes for under 25s – will soar over the courses designed by Spanish course designer Santiago Varela Ullastres, assisted by the French course designer Grégory Bodo in association with Michel Robert, sporting advisor for the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais.
In the nave adorned in the event’s distinctive colours, visitors will be treated to a three-day celebration of
equestrianism, high-level sport and exceptional craftsmanship. Demonstrations of know-how by the Parisian house’s
saddler workers, an original virtual reality experience, a themed café and bookshop, and an all-new show will bring a
celebratory and convivial spirit to the walkways and the arena.
Hermès is once again very pleased to be organising this international competition with its long-standing partners GL
events and the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais, with whom it shares its core values of excellence and
transmission.

Hermès offers FFE licence-holders the opportunity to attend the event without charge on Friday,
20th March 2020.
