IOC Executive Board meeting in September 2022 – Information for the media
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) will hold a meeting on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 September 2022 at Olympic House in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The IOC EB is scheduled to receive updates on the activities of the Olympic Movement, the IOC commissions and the IOC administration, as well as reports from the Organising Committees for the Olympic Games.
The two days of meetings will be held in hybrid format, with some of the participants attending in person at Olympic House and others joining online.
A press conference will take place online after the first and second days of the meeting.
The International Olympic Committee is a not-for-profit, civil, non-governmental, international organisation made up of volunteers which is committed to building a better world through sport. It redistributes more than 90 per cent of its income to the wider sporting movement, which means that every day the equivalent of USD 4.2 million goes to help athletes and sports organisations at all levels around the world.
