IRELAND’S DANIEL COYLE RIDES TO VICTORY IN THE CSI 4*-W $200,000 LONGINES FEI JUMPING WORLD CUP™ OCALA PRESENTED BY LUGANO DIAMONDS & CHESTER C. WEBER

Live Oak International hosted an exciting and talented field with top riders from around the world on Sunday where Daniel Coyle

and Incredible won today’s CSI 4*-W $200,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Ocala presented by Lugano Diamonds with a jump-off winning time of 40.37 seconds.

Today’s class was the final qualifier before the Longines FEI World Cup™ Final in Riyadh. Of the 32 starters, 4 riders went clear and into the jump-off to challenge for the win over the challenging course designed by Olaf Petersen Jr.

“While we had sort of bought Incredible as a horse to assist and help out with Legacy he has become so much more than that and I’m really really happy to have a horse like Incredible that is capable of massive performances like he put in today”

Taking home second with a jump-off time of 42.58 seconds were the American Kent Farrington and 10-year-old Toulayna. Dermott Lennon for Ireland put in a solid effort aboard Millview Cicero finishing third with a jump-off time of 44.05 seconds.

“With World Cup qualifiers you have to have challenges and a high level of difficulty. But what I liked is that we had faults everywhere, even on number one, triple bar etc. So it was not one specific place in the course that caused so many of the riders to fault. So from my side, I was really happy ” Said Olaf Petersen Jr, course designer at Live Oak International.

Earlier in the day, Chester C. Weber won the cones phase to put the lock on his 21st  USEF Advanced Four-in-Hand National Championship title win. The team, consisting of Amadeus, Gouveneur, Kadora, Nico Teusje C came in focused as they had been all week long in an unprecedented display of horsemanship and teamwork.

“It’s really humbling and it’s an honour for me and my entire family to welcome not only these wonderful athletes and horses alike but also the 15,000 plus spectators we had over the course of the weekend. It really proves that the community of Ocala and the surrounding area come out and that this has become an event that is circled on a lot of people’s calendars every year and has been for 33 years now”

In addition to Sunday’s competition results, four jumping specialty awards were presented. The Leading Owner Award was presented to Elizabeth Miller on behalf of Grant Road Partners LLC. Zoe Conter of Belgium won both the $1,000 EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants Leading Rider Award and the Leading Lady Rider Award after putting in fantastic performances and accumulating the highest results over the three days of competition.

“I am pleased to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Live Oak International for another remarkable event this year. As a sponsor for over a decade, Lugano Diamonds takes immense pride in being an integral part of this journey,” said Moti Ferder, CEO and Co-Founder of Lugano Diamonds, presenting sponsor of the Grand Prix.

Live Oak International is delighted to have been the last leg of the FEI World Cup before those who qualified head to Riyadh for the World Cup Finals in April.
