Justin Hardin Wins Custom Saddlery Most Valuable Rider Award During 2013 Adequan Global Dressage Festival
Wellington, FL (March 25, 2013) – Custom Saddlery was proud to present their Most Valuable Rider Award (MVR) to Justin Hardin after his impressive rides at the 2013 Adequan Global Dressage Festival’s WEF Classic CDI-3*. Atop the 9-year-old Dutch Warmblood, Wyatt Star (Gribaldi x Seuxlita x Krack C) owned by Judith Cardella, Hardin was able to show off his amazing and hard earned prowess which he has acquired through training with Michael Barisone for over 10 years. “I’m honored and the recognition is so nice,” he stated about being named MVR. “Especially after being at these shows for so long over the years grooming, watching and now riding!”
Hardin explained that this is his first season with Wyatt Star doing the small tour CDI. “He’s getting stronger and more confident all the time,” he stated about the horse, “We had a bit of unexpected tension before going into the ring earlier, but we kept it together nicely. Then for the next ride, he was really relaxed. I was proud of him and very happy with the test.” Hardin and Barisone are based in Loxahatchee, Florida as well as Long Valley, New Jersey. He is looking forward to continuing on his journey up the levels of dressage on his way to becoming a professional rider. Hardin was presented with a Custom Saddlery embroidered saddle pad for winning the MVR award, and he will also be entered into a drawing to win a new Custom Saddle at the end of the winter season.
The Custom Saddlery MVR awards will continue to be presented at select shows throughout the winter season. Current MVR riders include US Olympic dressage veterans Steffen Peters, Heather Blitz, and Sue Blinks. Custom Saddlery also endorses a host of other dressage superstars including Tina Konyot, Kathleen Raine, Lauren Sammis, Caroline Roffman, Endel Ots and David Wightman, to name a few.
