KAKI Apparel Proud to Support Horses N Heroes
Wellington, Fl. – December 23, 2016 – KAKI Apparel is proud to support Horses N Heroes by outfitting participants of the program in KAKI Apparel clothing for lessons and shows.
“Everyone can use a helping hand from time to time,” said Lori Hall of KAKI Apparel “Horses N Heroes is an incredible program that helps girls learn life skills through horse care, riding and competition. Although they are still in need of financial support, KAKI APPAREL is proud to outfit all 25 girls with clothes they can school and compete in.”
Horses N Heroes is dedicated to providing an equine learning and mentoring experience for young girls who come from families with extreme financial constraints. There is no fee for participation in the program. These girls are given the opportunity to bond with horses and through that experience gain self-esteem, and learn about, responsibility, team work, kind heartedness, commitment and much more. The girls are taught all aspects of horsemanship including but not limited to riding, grooming, feeding and caring for the donated horses. Students also are given the opportunity to show at local horse shows.
“I am incredibly grateful to KAKI Apparel and Lori Hall,” said Horses N Heroes Mindy Morrow. “The girls in my program live at the poverty level and below. This donation is incredible for them, to have brand new riding clothes for them is amazing. This donation is very moving and means so much to me and to all of the girls in our program.”
