Laughter Fills the Air During News 12 Long Island Kids Day at the 2024 Hampton Classic Horse Show
A day of excitement and laughter was the theme at the children’s tent during the News 12 Long Island Kids Day at the Hampton Classic on Saturday with special educational activities and live entertainment for kids of all ages.
Young children from Long Island and the New York metropolitan area enjoyed free admission, complimentary pony rides, and other activities including games, music, magic, and crafts.
“News 12 Long Island Kids Day is one of our favorite days here at the Hampton Classic,” said Shanette Barth Cohen, the show’s Executive Director. “Seeing the smiles on the faces of all those children and how much they enjoy being here at the horse show makes it a great day for everyone.”
The Classic’s News 12 Long Island Kids Day offered free pony rides for young children courtesy of Steppin’ Out Petting Zoo & Pony Rides, who brought some of their petting zoo which includes sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and llamas.
Other great family attractions included performances by All Star DJ and returning circus performers Keith Leaf & The Lovely Laura; creative activities with Macaroni Kid Hamptons, Noble Adventures Magazine and Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons; magic and mystery with The Amazing Zola; ping pong, cornhole and more yard games in the Macrae Skye Fun Zone; and facepainting by the Amazing Rubini and Fancy Faces by Kathy. There were also healthy snacks available courtesy of Scott’s Protein Balls.
