Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show Promises to be an Outstanding New Event for the Region
After an absence of six years, elite world class show jumping returns to Asia World Expo, Hong Kong from 14 to 16 February 2025.
The announcement is coupled with the signing of a title sponsor. Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show will be an annual venture, presented by Clarion Events Pte Ltd and HPower Group Ltd, organisers of the world-renowned London International Horse Show, who will be bringing all their experience of the London Show to Hong Kong.

The competition is designed to engage a new Greater Bay Area audience in the thrills of top-level equestrian competition, with some of the best athletes and horses flying in from all over the world to showcase the sport. Cathay Cargo will be responsible – as the Official Airline Partner – for transporting 70 of the world’s best horses to the event from Europe and beyond.
Alongside the arena jumping competitions, will be a mixture of exhilarating entertainment, fine dining, a boutique shopping village with 120 leading brands, specially curated for their quality and luxury, and attractions for all the family to participate in.
The Show timetable will run over three days, with five performances and it is expected that 25,000 visitors will enjoy the spectacle. Working closely with The Hong Kong Jockey Club, who are major supporters of the event, visitors can expect to see the world’s best horse and rider combinations, jumping the highest and widest fences, coupled with Hong Kong athletes in national jumping and dressage classes and exhibitions.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club will be a ‘Founding Partner’’ of the Show. Michael Lee, Chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club has agreed to become the event’s President, chairing the Honorary Committee.

Since losing the Hong Kong Masters to the pandemic, we have seriously missed hosting a show of this calibre. The Club will get behind the event through supporting with our expertise in bio-security and horse transportation, veterinary services, stable management, stewarding and local marketing experience. This is such an important and exciting new event for sports fans in Asia.”
Alongside the main competition arena will be a large Luxury Lifestyle Shopping Village, housing over 120 shops offering fashion, food and beverage, homeware and equestrian. In addition, the area will include a Jockey Club Live Zone where visitors can watch their sporting heroes in an interview or find out more about how to get involved in equestrianism, learn about horse care and meet influencers. Plus, there is a Hobby Horse Arena for the younger visitor to enjoy, a Horse Selfie Zone and a Chefs Theatre where visitors can watch celebrity chefs demonstrating their skills and finally a catwalk to catch the latest Hong Kong and equestrian lifestyle fashions.
Working with the award-winning chefs at Asia World Expo, the event will offer a top-end VIP hospitality experience for corporates and private individuals. Over 90 VIP tables for 8 will be located alongside the main arena offering first-class views of all the sporting action. Plus, there are Private Suites to hire and a Champagne Bar alongside the show’s collecting ring for all to enjoy.

The Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show will take place in Asia World Expo, Hong Kong 14 – 16 February 2025 with future dates for the 2026 and 2027 show yet to be announced.
The Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show is owned by Clarion Events Pte Ltd. HPower Events Ltd provides the Event Management. Tickets will go on sale at the end of September.
