Mary-Haskins Dressage Rocks Out with Ramone

in Sotheby’s Stakes at Pinehurst Fall Dressage

New Bern, NC (September 26, 2013) – Mary-Haskins Dressage’s Ramone rocked Pinehurst Fall Dressage, September 21-22, in North Carolina with a 76.552% win in the Sotheby’s Stakes First Level and placed second in his second ride of the day, the First Level-2, with a strong 75.00%.

“This was his fourth show. He did FEI Young Horse classes earlier this year but was in an awkward, goofy stage. Like his father, I think he will be slow to mature to full potential. He has a lot of growing to do but is clearly on his way,” said owner Mary-Haskins Gurganus of Mary-Haskins Dressage, based at Bethanna Perry’s Rollover Downs in New Bern, NC. The 16.1 hand, four-year-old chestnut is by Haskins’ stallion, Richmond, out of an Espri mare.
