Royal Windsor Horse Show 2024 Dates Announced
Today, Royal Windsor Horse Show have announced that the 2024 Edition of the Show will run from Wednesday 1 May to Sunday 5 May. This is a change to the annual UK and international equestrian event calendar, as the Show is normally the second week in May, with Badminton Horse Trials running the first week. Due to exceptional circumstances that arose from BBC’s scheduling of Badminton, Royal Windsor has agreed, with the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) and Badminton, to alter its dates, on a one-off basis only. Thereafter, the calendar will revert to the normal sequence of events where dates for Royal Windsor Horse Show will be 14–18 May 2025, 13–17 May 2026 and 12–16 May 2027.

Royal Windsor Horse Show takes place annually in May with over 55,000 visitors attending to view an extensive programme of first-class equestrian competition and performances across five arenas. The 2024 edition, which has Defender as Principal Partner, will take place from 1-5 May. The Royal Windsor Horse Show was first staged in 1943 to help raise funds for the War effort. It is now the only show in the UK to host international competitions in Show Jumping, Dressage, Driving and Endurance.
