Albright presented his Grand Prix partner, the Jazz-bred Dutch Warmblood Toscano, in crisp cream khakis and powder blue jacket and shirt, accented with a grey-to-blue striped tie and clinching ShowChic’s Best Turnout decision hands down with his white gloves as a finishing touch.

“He was just turned out beautifully,” said Michelle Hundt, who was at Devon along with Kelly Molinari of Equiline, to personally present $100 gift certificates and Waffle blankets to both smartly dressed riders. ShowChic also hosted a champagne toast during the jog at Devon to celebrate the beginning of the prestigous international dressage show.

Earning sideline coo’s of “So chic,” and “Such a complete look,” to also earn ShowChic Best Turnout recognition was Kimberly Herslow, who jogged her Prix St. Georges Hanoverian, Rosmarin (by Rosentanz) in a shimmering grey ensemble Hundt praised as a “chic complement to a dark horse.”

Working together, Show Chic and Equiline reinforced the importance of appearance and high fashion etiquette at dressage shows by bringing attention to the jog during Devon. The long standing tradition of trend-setting fashion within the equestrian lifestyle is both fun and functional in the jog, which is why they are dedicated to recognizing well dressed riders. Equiline, which only recently began importing and distributing their lines in the US, is working closely with ShowChic to carry and promote the brand. All fashion-forward equestrians who attend Devon will have the opportunity to get a first glimpse at these exciting new Italian lines.

The ShowChic Best Turnout Awards are the brainchild of ShowChic owners, Michele and Doug Hundt, who sponsor the awards throughout the year and show circuit in both Florida and the northeast. The upscale dressage fashion boutique and integral supporter of its riding community is dedicated to ‘putting the rider in first place.’ Its stylish and dependable reputation is built on carrying everything riders need to dress for success in the dressage arena, including sought-after brands like Kentucky, Cavallo, Arista, Pikeur, Back on Track, and Samshield.
