ShowChic Hosts Certified Hypnotist & Performance Coach Laura King
Wellington, FL (January 3, 2013) – “We are excited to invite dressage enthusiasts to spend the evening of January 8th with us for this power packed Shop Talk” said Michele Hundt, owner of ShowChic who hosts the Shop Talk educational evenings in conjunction with the Gold Coast Dressage Association the second Tuesday of every month at her dressage boutique starting at 6:30pm.
The January 8th speaker will be Laura King, a Certified Hypnosis Instructor, Master NLP Practitioner (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Certified Sports Hypnotist and Performance and Life Coach. King has developed a reputation as a performance coach within the equestrian community, and a myriad of other competition sports.
King is a seasoned speaker and teacher who will engage listeners with her knowledge on how to succeed under pressure. King says that it has been her lifelong goal to teach everyone the power of hypnosis to create positive and lasting change. She credits hypnosis with saving her own life, which instilled a passion deep in her heart to help others overcome challenges. By teaching others to do what she does, she believes that she will be able to reach, and help, even more people.
King has published four books on the subject of Hypnosis and NLP, with another in the works. She has appeared on Rachel Ray, and is a highly sought after speaker. Books include, The Power to Win, and DVDs for dressage riders including The Keys to Winning Dressage Series (Gaining Concentration and Memory, Peak Performance, and Freestyle Relaxation to Dance). Whether you want to cover come show-ring nerves, work on your timing for the flying changes, or master some elusive problem in training, Laura can help you to achieve what you need to succeed. “She is a secret weapon for the competitive dressage rider”, Hundt explains.
Guests at the January Shop Talk will have a chance to view ShowChic’s extensive selection of dressage fashions. ShowChic carries everything the rider needs to dress for success in the dressage arena, including well-known brands like Animo, Kentucky, Cavallo, Arista, Pikeur, Kinsgland, Samshield, GPA and Charles Owen.
