South Point Arena & Equestrian Center Announces Promotions and New Hire to Arena Event Team
South Point Arena & Equestrian Center is proud to announce the promotion of two arena team members and the addition of a new event coordinator as the facility continues to strengthen its leadership team and support its growing roster of premier events.
The following staffing updates have recently taken effect:
- Rachel Kokernak promoted to Arena Event Manager
After serving as the Arena Event Coordinator for more than three years, Rachel Kokernak has been promoted to Arena Event Manager. In her new role, she will oversee all event-related operations, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while managing event logistics, staffing, internal and external communications, and overall event execution. - Rusty McGinnis promoted to Arena Production Manager
Rusty McGinnis, who has been with South Point Arena & Equestrian Center for more than three years, has been promoted to Production Manager. He will oversee all technical activities and serve as the key liaison between the venue, vendors, production partners, and technical crews to ensure seamless event operations. Rusty will continue to integrate new technologies into the daily operations to streamline workflows and enhance the venue for shows and promoters. - Kaia Petrone joins as Arena Event Coordinator
Kaia Petrone has joined the team as the Event Coordinator. A graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Equine Sciences, Petrone most recently worked with the Temple Grandin Equine Center at Colorado State University. She brings valuable industry knowledge and hands-on experience that will support the venue’s diverse equestrian and event programming.
