Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ : 10 teams in competition

From 10th to 13th June 2021, the world elite of show jumping will meet up at the Longines International Jumping of La Baule for a top level confrontation, a few weeks ahead Tokyo.

The best riders and horses of the planet will compete in the 9 classes of the CSIO5* of France. If 8 of them will count for the world ranking, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ (Friday 11th June, 2.00pm) and the Grand Prix Longines of the City of La Baule (Sunday 13th June, 1.00pm) will also be qualifiers for Tokyo, the 2021 European Championships and the 2022 World Equestrian Games.

A flavour of Olympism should float over the mythical grass arena of the François André stadium.
Traditionnaly reserved to 8 teams of the Division 1, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ will, exceptionally this year, be open to 10 teams of 4 riders. This decision, result of the cancellation of several CSIO5* of the circuit due to the health crisis, intends to maintain the preparation of the pairs in the spotlight for Tokyo.

The 10 national teams in competition in La Baule will be : Belgium, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland.

The 10 nations engaged in the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ 2021 circuit: Germany, Belgium (2nd of the circuit in 2019), France, Great Britain, Ireland (winner of the circuit in 2019), Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, are qualified ex-officio for the world final in Barcelona, held from 30th September to 3rd October 2021.
