ACTHA Reaches Out for the Veteran

November 11th is always reserved as Veterans Day in observance of the signing of the armistice ending World War One in 1918.

“On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 an armistice between Germany and the Allied nations came into effect.”

ACTHA is shooting for 111 events on Veterans Day week end with all proceeds, except direct administrative costs, going to Veteran Outreach Programs like Horses4Heroes where ACTHA has been successful finding members to set up local chapters.ACTHA Reaches Out for the Veteran

“At each event “the ride host” will tell us which organization to send the proceeds to. Even if it’s a local need ACTHA will forward the proceeds as directed,” states Comptroller Ann Kinsey.

“ACTHA’s battle cry to their 1,000+ ride hosts of record is Give of yourself on Saturday and reap your reward on Sunday with another event for yourself, thus continuing our philosophy of commerce alongside charity,” continues ACTHA Chief Operating Officer Robin Tilghman.
