Carmen Franco and Vinho Dos Pinhais Win Horse Of Course High Score Award At Gold Coast May Show

Wellington, FL (June 4, 2012) – Carmen Franco piloted Vinho Dos Pinhais to the High Score at the Gold Coast May Show, riding away with a 70.8% in the Fourth Level Test 3 class. Owned by Nan Sexton, Vinho Dos Pinhais is a 10-year-old Lusitano stallion imported from Brazil.

Franco and Vinho also won The Horse of Course High Score Award at the May Show, sponsored by The Horse of Course, Inc., one of the nation’s premier tack shops specializing in dressage tack, clothing and supplies. Vinho will concentrate on the Small Tour next year and Franco believes the talented stallion will go far. “I am a big fan of the Lusitano breed,” she said, adding that she wanted to thank The Horse of Course for sponsoring the class. “It is so wonderful to have sponsors and it means a lot to the riders.
