Custom Saddlery Tips a Stylish Top Hat to Their MVR (Most Valuable Rider) During the Wellington Classic Dressage Sunshine Challenge/World Dressage Masters CDI 5*

Aiken, SC (February 5, 2013) – It was a week of firsts at the World Dressage Masters and the Wellington Classic Dressage Sunshine Challenge for Karen Lipp of Georgia-based Top Hat Dressage. Lipp and her seven year-old mare, Baxamilliana (aka, ‘B’) finished first in the horse’s first Fourth Level Test and made a great first impression on president and Master Saddlefitter, Cary Wallace, of Custom Saddlery, who awarded the trainer and designer behind 2K Grey modern equestrian apparel, its MVR (Most Valuable Rider) Award.Custom Saddlery Tips a Stylish Top Hat to

“This is great,” smiled Lipp. “I’ve ridden in Custom Saddles since 1998. We came from ‘Hotlanta’ for the World Dressage Masters. While B found the atmosphere ‘stimulating’ with all the applause, etc., we kept that energy directed and I’m very proud of her.” Presenting an especially stylish silhouette, Lipp complemented her horse’s luxurious good looks with equestrian wear from her own crossover apparel line, 2K Grey. “It’s a new approach to denim, and riding wear, that can go from saddle to stilettos.”

“We are proud to recognize your style and sportsmanship while presenting such a hot and beautiful mare,” said Wallace, noting the company’s longstanding relationship with the dressage world. “Steffen Peters, Tina Konyot, and Heather Blitz all ride in Custom Saddles. It is always exciting to see ‘our’ riders take to the dressage stage.”

Lipp was presented with a Custom Saddlery saddle pad, and at the conclusion of the circuit, will join the roster of 2013 Custom Saddlery MVR’s automatically entered to win the MVR Grand Prize: a new saddle from the company respected for a quarter of a century as one of the most innovative saddle makers in the dressage world. Selection as a Custom Saddlery MVR puts a rider in elite company. Prior Custom Saddlery MVRs include U.S. Olympic Dressage veterans Steffen Peters, Heather Blitz, Sue Blinks, and Shannon Dueck.

Custom Saddlery is on the lookout to sign up Most Valuable Riders at the most prestigious shows of the season, including the Wellington Classic and Gold Coast Dressage series, and Global Dressage Forum North America/World Dressage Masters CDI5*.
