Nancy Hooker won the Best Foot Forward Award during the 2012 Winter Equestrian Festival.

“We are proud to present the Best Foot Forward award again this season,” says Becky Shipps, Prouduct Manager for Draper Therapies. “We have sponsored this award at the Winter Equestrian Festival for the past two years, and are excited to continue it in 2013. Anyone is eligible, including grooms, trainers, owners, or riders, as long as they embody the attributes of horsemanship and always put their best foot forward. It’s basically good vibes you feel radiating off a person. We are looking for someone who is generally enjoying their sport, both the ups and downs, and really showing off their positive attitude.” Draper is preparing 25 awards to be given out throughout the circuit.

Draper is also continuing its support of the hunter/jumper circuit by recognizing Best Overall Hunter rider, owner and trainer, Jumper owner, rider and trainer and Pony rider at each show, as well as Best Overall Circuit riders, owners and trainers. Draper is also proud to, once again, be sponsoring the FTI Consulting Great Charity Challenge. This is a relay-style jumping competition with teams consisting of two junior/amateur riders combined with one Olympic or world-class rider. The 32 rider teams are randomly paired with 32 charities that serve Palm Beach County. 100% of all proceeds will be donated to the charities, and Draper will be providing saddle pads for the top three teams. Draper is also supporting the Palm Beach Riding Academy Ride & Learn series, and will be sponsoring and providing saddle pads for the participants in the Geoff Teall Clinic – “The Right Approach to Hunters” on January 29th.

“Draper Equine Therapy® proudly salutes every horse and rider who work together in the pursuit of their dreams,” Draper continues, “Whether they are riding in or out of the show ring, we support equestrians and their equine partners with our line of therapeutic horse and rider products – featuring the innovative textile Celliant®” Celliant is the world’s most technologically advanced fiber that is a proprietary blend of minerals which have been extruded into a polyester fiber. Celliant encourages not only alleviation of pain and other negative symptoms, but an actual improvement of the body’s natural systems. Celliant’s oxygen studies were done independently by three separate doctors and all tests came to the same conclusion, that Celliant increases tissue oxygen levels which has been shown to increase performance, relieve pain and improve muscle recovery. Draper equestrian products include scientifically proven therapeutic horse blankets, boots, wraps and saddle pads. In addition to the horse products, Draper also carries blankets, bedding, clothing and spa products for people. Draper plans to continue product development in all areas of equine, canine and human markets, and have assembled an impressive Advisory Board consisting of top-level equestrian competitors along with scientists and practitioners. Draper is dedicated to supporting all levels of equestrian sport.
