So the original sponsors of the Junior/Young Rider Achievement Award are expanding their recognition to encompass all dressage divisions through a new Everglades Rider Achievement Award.

Wellington, FL (January 9, 2014) – As a founding sponsor of the Global Dressage Festival, Everglades Dressage is no stranger to watching riders try their heart out. So the original sponsors of the Junior/Young Rider Achievement Award are expanding their recognition to encompass all dressage divisions through a new Everglades Rider Achievement Award.

The Everglades Rider Achievement Award will include an embroidered saddle pad and salute exceptional performances or efforts made by riders from all divisions during the 2014 Adequan Global Dressage Festival, January 8-March 30, at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellilngton, FL.

Among last year’s GDF equestrians celebrated by Everglades Dressage for riding ‘through’ challenge were Training Level Young Rider, Sophia Robinson, whose retraining helped 15 year-old Australian Riding Pony, Valor, overcome negative memories as a hunter and shine as her dressage partner, and teen rider Maria Aljandra Aponte, whose cool presentation of her mare Royal Angel belied their only three months together.

Peslar, a 2006 Reserve Champion in the National Brentina Cup at Gladstone, NJ, and successful USEF High Performance Grand Prix competitor in her own right, who earned her USDF Gold Medal in 2003 and remains a staunch supporter of equestrian programs in the United States.
