Stumpf’s ensemble, accented against the Florida sun with a broad brimmed, banded straw fedora, and leather flats, earned her the ShowChic Turn Out Award from Michele Hundt and co-sponsor Kelly Molinari of Equiline, the competitive apparel manufacturer whose motto is, ‘The Dress Code.’

“I always try my best. It was very important to get this ShowChic Award,” said Stumpf, of Vienna, who also has the distinction of being the Global Dressage Festival’s first international – and first amateur – competitor when the GDF debuted in 2012.

“As manufacturers of competitive apparel, naturally it’s important to Equiline to encourage great turn out for the jogs. It was clear that she put effort into her presentation, and achieved a beautiful, elegant and coordinated image with her horse,” said Molinari, who presented Stumpf with an Equiline dressage saddle pad as part of her award package of accessories.

“We just love the jog,” said Hundt. “It’s so fun to watch. It’s like our very own Project Runway.” ShowChic also hosts jog parties during the Global CDIs, which provide refreshements and snacks to spectators and participants at the jog.

The Adequan Global Dressage Festival is the world’s largest international and national dressage circuit featuring 8 CDIs, including five CDI-Ws, one 4* and one 5*, the only non-championship CDIO Nations’ Cup in the Western Hemisphere, as well as weekly U.S. National events.

The ShowChic Turn Out Award, celebrating great presentation style, began with ShowChic owners, Michele and Doug Hundt. The ultimate stop for equestrian fashion and gifts, ShowChic is an upscale dressage fashion boutique dedicated to ‘putting the rider in first place.’

Like the sport it serves, ShowChic’s stylish and dependable reputation rests on a foundation: carry everything riders need, including sought-after brands like Equinline, Kentucky, Cavallo, Arista, Pikeur, Back on Track, and Samshield.
