The Morven Park International Equestrian Center is pleased to announce that Purcellville Southern States will be the Title Sponsor for the 2020 Summer Show Series. The Purcellville Southern States Summer Show Series at Morven Park is scheduled to host seven VHSA/BHSA/TIP-rated Hunter/Jumper shows from June through September.

Morven Park is delighted to partner with a company that has done so much for the local equestrian community and shares the Park’s dedication to community well-being. “Southern States and Morven Park have worked together for many years to elevate equestrian sport,” said Morven Park Equestrian Center Manager Samantha Franklin. “In 2019, they were generous enough to loan us truckloads of flowers and plants for every show in the Summer Show Series. It is great to be partnering with them again this summer and to recognize them as the Title Sponsor for the series.”

Dan Virts, Owner/Operator of Purcellville Southern States added, “We are thrilled for the opportunity to continue our relationship with Morven Park. We look forward to being able to continue our support of this wonderful horse community, and all of its participants.” To learn more about Purcellville Southern States, visit www.southernstates.com/farm-store/store-locations/14905

The second season of Hunter/Jumper shows at the Morven Park International Equestrian Center kicks off on June 21. Each show will feature a $100 2’6”/3’ hunter derby presented by Total Equine Veterinary Associates, as well as a 2’ mini hunter derby open only to juniors and amateurs. The top 12 horses/ponies will be invited to compete in the Derby Finals held on September 5. Series-end championship awards and prizes for every division will be presented at the September show.
