2:00 Jan Neuharth, popular Middleburg author, The Kill: A Hunt Country Suspense Novel (2010).

3:00 Jill Deiss, book conservationist on the restoration of Thomas Jefferson’s set of the works of Aeschylus.

10:00-4:00 Jill Deiss, Cat Tail Run Book Bindery, with demonstrations of book binding and conservation.

10:00-5:00 NSLM Duplicate Book Sale, used and new books on equestrian, fly-fishing, foxhunting, hunting, and horseracing. All proceeds benefit the Book Acquisition Fund.

The Book Fair is part of the 54th Annual Hunt Country Stable Tour. The Book Fair is a Saturday event only, and the Library will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Museum will be open to visitors on Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The National Sporting Library & Museum is dedicated to preserving, promoting and sharing the literature, art and culture of equestrian, angling and field sports. Founded in 1954, the institution has over 24,000-books dating from the 16th-21st centuries. The John H. Daniels Fellowship program supports the research of visiting scholars. The Museum, a newly renovated and expanded historic building on the Library campus, houses exhibits of American and European fine animal and sporting art. Information is shared through exhibitions, lectures, seminars, publications and special events. The NSLM is open to researchers and the general public. Admission: free.
