“For each clear round ribbon won in that division during the Holiday circuit shows, the riders will have their names entered into a drawing to win the Neue Schule Bit of their choice,” says Neue Schule U.S. distributor, Mette Larsen, of Metlar Premium Performance Saddlery. “This is a great way to recognize exceptional performance, which is what we strive for in creating and selling Neue Schule bits.”

The traditional precursor to the Winter Equestrian Festival, the Equestrian Sport Production (ESP) Holiday Show Series features six weeks of competition at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL, beginning November 27 and continuing through January 5, 2014. The Holiday & Horses CSI-W2* launches the series with Saturday Night Under the Lights, November 30, and a World Cup qualifying Grand Prix. Sunday afternoon will feature a USHJA International Hunter Derby. FEI international and other show jumping divisions will be presented throughout the week.

Neue Schule Bits are the bit of choice for show jumping riders like World Cup and Nations Cup veteran, Todd Minikus of Homeland, Florida. Minikus, who won the $30,000 Open Jumper Classic on Quality Girl at the 2013 I Love New York Horse Show, likes the way the bits keep him connected to his horses.

“My favorite is the loose ring because it works well for daily schooling,” said Minikus. “The lightweight construction and way they fit nicely and smoothly in the mouth have helped improve communication between me and my horses.”

At the conclusion of the Holiday Show Series, the one lucky Neue Schule Clear Round Bonus winner drawn will have plenty of loose ring – and other bits – to choose from, such as the NS Tranz Angled Snaffle with ‘sweet-spot lozenge’ or NS Team Up Snaffle with unique ergonomically curved design.
