Wellington, FL (January 7, 2014) – Starwyn Farms, LLC of Wellington, Florida will once again host their groundbreaking International Equestrian Education (IEE) series during the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). Working in conjunction with WEF, Danielle Goldstein, Grand Prix show jumper and owner of Starwyn Farms, and her partner David Krum, designed the innovative and exciting 5-week course to provide valuable knowledge, understanding and insight for young riders, adult amateur equestrians, professionals, and anyone interested in horses, regardless of experience. schooling area safety and etiquette. Topics such as FEI standards, jumper course design, veterinary and hoof care basics, legal contracts and business essentials will also be addressed.

The International Equestrian Education series will be held during WEF weeks 4-8 (January 28th – February 28th). All classes will be held on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 5:30-7:00pm. Enrollment for the 10-class semester is $500, and graduates will earn the Starwyn Certificate for Equestrian Education. Starwyn’s International Equestrian Education Certification program provides knowledge to people who otherwise may never have the opportunity to access this valuable information, and is an excellent option for aspiring equestrians and individuals with little to no equestrian knowledge, as well as seasoned professionals. The International Equestrian Education series will benefit trainers or barn managers looking to upgrade the skills of their grooms or riders, and is designed to advance the equine industry as a whole by educating beginners and increasing general knowledge in the equestrian community.

With the collaboration and support of the Winter Equestrian Festival, scholarships to the International Equestrian Education series will be available to anyone over the age of 15. The Winter Equestrian Festival will award 10 scholarships to the series during the 2014 circuit. The scholarships are open to any individual interested in learning more about the equine industry or advancing their skills in horsemanship. For Goldstein, innovation, determination and passion have been a driving force throughout her entire life. Since the young age of 15, she has contributed her visionary talent to developing innovative projects that support and grow the equestrian industry.
