“I was looking for a less expensive line that was fashion forward and made with interesting fabrics,” said Beth Haist, CEO of The Horse of Course. “This line, like most European companies, puts their lines out in collections so that everything is always fresh each season.”

B//Verdigo and Horze are from a Scandanavian based company with two levels of price points. The upper line, B//Verdigo, contains breeches made with cool max and polo shirts featuring high tech fabrics that wick away moisture. The entire line is very fashionable, with great colors and the option to coordinate breeches, shirts, hats, athletic jackets and casual jackets. Horze, the lower line, features similar fashion and clothing options at lower prices.

“The lower line had adorable jean breeches that had little international flags embroidered over the back pockets,” said Haist. “These were a huge hit, as they were cute, well priced, and were so well fitting. We sold out almost immediately, and are excited to see what the future lines have to offer!”

The Horse of Course, Inc is based in Claremore, Oklahoma, and offer everything for the discriminating equestrian. From show attire, bridles, saddles, gloves, breeches to fashionable equestrian attire and accessories, The Horse of Course is a favorite stop for many of the nation’s leading dressage riders. Mary Haist is a master saddlefitter who specializes in the Sommer Flextra EQ and does many on site saddle evaluations during the many shows Horse of Course attend during the season.

“Our mobile set up is a wonderful attraction on the show grounds. If a rider loses a button on their coat or needs their stock tie tied, they should come and visit us,” Haist said. “We have a lot of new and exciting merchandise to show off in addition to B Verdigo, including our fabulous new line of Kentucky breeches. They are really slick and fabulous. We also have a new line of washable shadbellies, which are really wonderful.” The Horse of Course offers the ultimate collection of apparel to keep every rider fashionably dressed, including these well-known lines: Gersemi, Laurel Burch, Pikeur, Ariat, Kentucky, Goode Rider, Red Barn, Vespucci, Ovation, Intec, Kerrits, Romfh, Pure Lime, USG and Windsor. “We also carry the HV-Polo line which has been a big hit with our riders. The line offers stylish fun polo shirts, jackets and breeches with crested embroidery, microfiber cottons in the latest fashion colors from Germany. A highlight of this line is the matching coordinates for your horse including blankets, coolers and saddle pads.”

The Horse of Course is a strong supporter of the equestrian community and travels across the country with their mobile store, attending horse shows and sponsoring classes. “Dressage riders from around the world rely on our products, clothing and saddles and we really do feel like we are partners in their show careers,” Haist said.
