Wellington, FL (February 12, 2013) – Maggie Zinck, of New Brunswick, Canada was the proud recipient of the Everglades Dressage Young Rider Achievement Award during the Wellington Dressage CDI-W at the 2013 Adequan Global Dressage Festival. In her first show of the season aboard a 4-year-old KWPN gelding showing for the first time ever, Zinck and her mount, Esperador displayed a rare combination of a young rider successfully showing a young horse. “He’s got a lot of power, and is fun to ride,” Zinck described about the young Dutch Warmblood, “He makes it easy!”
Esperador, a 2009 gelding by Sorento (x Don Vino), is owned by international dressage rider and trainer, Denielle Gallagher. Zinck is working at Denielle Gallagher Dressage for the year as a working student. Along with Esperador, Gallagher is having Zinck ride and show another one of her horses, a 9-year-old Dutch warmblood named Wableu Le Sursaut. Zinck won a beautiful saddle pad from Everglades Farm as a part of the Young Rider Achievement Award.
